Why Kerala in the Medical Tourism Sector

Globalization and economic liberalization have given a very needed boost to the medical service sector in Kerala and the state is all set for a giant leap in medical tourism. Medical tourism can be defined as the synergy between hospitals and the Tourism industry of the state.  It stands to be said that India is the second most popular tourist destination in Asia behind Thailand and Kerala has all the necessities to stand in the forefront of this section in the country.
