All of us are well aware of the problem that arises to your kids when you beat them so people often resort to shouting at their kids, let me tell you from a psychologist point of view that this is equally damaging. If parents yell at their kids when they misbehave it creates a vicious cycle of having to scream louder after each misadventure. This unneeded aggression causes children to feel rejected and in the long run may even cause them to dislike their parents. The issues that arise are:
• Emotional Fallout: The increased hostility towards a child would result in him becoming more belligerent and would feel the need to defend himself which in turn would lead to a worse behavior.
• Damaged Trust: Verbal punishment causes the child to have a decline in trusting his parents. Yelling louder makes things worse and can cause long-lasting psychological problems for the children.
• Rebellious Nature: The constant shouting for every single mischief instills a sort of rebellious nature in your young one and it stays with him for a good period of his life and maybe forever.
