Never turn on your air condition as soon as you enter the car.

I am sure we all know that we should never turn on the air conditioning immediately after entering a hot vehicle. Most people believe it is because the battery cannot handle the sudden power output. The truth cannot be any further. The real reason why air conditioning is not preferred immediately upon entering a vehicle is to save our lives. No, I am not being dramatic. I am merely stating the truth. Research has shown that the dashboard, sofa and even the air fresheners in the vehicle emit Benzene, a carcinogen. Benzene also poisons your bones and causes anemia by reducing the white blood cells in your body. Prolonged exposure to benzene can also cause leukemia, and in some cases miscarriage. Benzene is acceptable within the dimensions of 50 milligram per square feet. A parked car with its windows and doors closed will contain about 400 to 800 milligrams of benzene. This is regarding a car that is parked indoors. However if a car is parked outside and temperatures reaches about 60 degree centigrade, the Benzene levels reach a staggering 2000 to 4000 milligrams which is nearly 40 times the acceptable level. When you enter such a vehicle and do not let this gas move outside you are literally hurting yourself. The air condition unit will keep circulating the same poisonous gas. This is the sole reason why you must never turn on your air condition as soon as you enter the car.
