Lack of Sleep

Sleep is an integral part in all our lives. But as we grew older we came to realize that getting a good night’s sleep is among the hardest things one can achieve. Stress, over working, partying etc is among the most common reasons for not getting adequate sleep.  There are several health problems that arise due to deficiency of sleep. Today let us discuss some of these arising issues.

· Dumbs you down: Your ability to think and make wise decisions decreases.

· Ages your Skin: You skin loses its smooth young texture very quickly.

· Loss of Memory: You fail to remember things often

· Kills Sex Drive: You start losing interest in your most primal needs

· Impairs Judgment: Your judgments are not the most ideal.

· Causes Depression: It is a symptom for depression and can also cause it.

Those above 15 years old should get a regular sleep cycle of 7-8 hours. It is also advised to have a sleep pattern and try to sleep during the same time every day. Power naps during noon are also recommended to keep the body in fine shape. Power naps should not exceed more than 90 minutes.
