HOW TO BOOST YOUR HEALTH TO FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

The widely spreading pandemic has turned the globe into one large panic stricken space.  The start of this global freak out began at the start of February 2020, when the first reported cases of covid-19 began to be known to the world.  Amidst the fear, it is our duty as a population to take necessary preventive measures and take care of ourselves. At this crucial moment, we must take responsibility for all humanity and must acknowledge our social responsibility.

WHAT WE CAN DO

Taking care of ourselves is very much equal to doing our stake in taking care of society. While we are all familiar of the preventive measures to stop the spread of corona disease, we must learn how to pamper our health to fight against possible infection.

  • Wash your hands

Doctors and experts cannot stress enough about the importance about personal hygiene. We must all take an extra mind for good hygiene and follow the prescribed measures by the experts. Wash your hands frequently with a hand wash, sanitizer or any alcohol based hand scrub. Alcohol based solutions has disinfectant properties that will kill the germs in your hands. This step is very crucial as it is believed that corona has most probability of spreading via human touch.

  • Take regular bathes

Your body becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and microbes, in this scorching summer. It is very important to take bathes or showers at least once every day.

  • Healthy food

Include a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Avoid junk food and refreshments containing artificial substances at all costs.  Make sure that your meat is cooked thoroughly before eating or better try to reduce your non vegetarian food consumption. Fruits and vegetables are always known to be natural detoxifiers for human body and it is advisable to follow a strictly vegetarian diet in a time like this. We must also make sure to intake a lot of clean water. At the same time it is important to give special attention to the quality of drinking water.

  • Wash your clothes

Do not wear same clothes for a long time. Your clothes can collect a lot of air borne particles and germs without your knowledge. Make sure to change them periodically. Wash and dry them in sufficient heat before using them again.

 

The world is going through an important wake up call. We need to stay at home and go back to healthy living practices. Eat healthy food, stay at home and take sufficient rest. And most important rule of all, take extra care of your personal hygiene.  Let’s be responsible citizens and stay at home for a little while till we can collectively contain this scary situation.
