Growing Fevers

There is indeed a growing epidemic in the capital district of Kerala. Trivandrum is run over by dengue cases. Most of the private hospitals in the city are unable to accept more patients. Not only dengue, but there are numerous cases of viral fevers spreading as well. Every school and college classrooms would have more than 5 infected students. Every cubicle office floor would have another 10.  The risk of the entire family getting infected if even 1 individual gets it is pretty high.

It is advisable to take in preventive homeopathic medicines for dengue and once caught to stay indoors, take as much rest as possible, have a lot of fluids and maintain your blood count. Pomegranate is ideal to build up your blood count. It is also extremely useful to visit your nearest clinic or hospital to get your blood checked to verify the kind of disease you may have. A simple viral fever should also be taken with caution as it can be easily spread to others and keep you in bed for a few days. Of course and this goes without saying, to keep your home and surroundings mosquito free. Make sure stagnant water is not present to prevent their laying of eggs. With monsoon season shadowing us and unexpected rainfall extra care should be given to the surroundings. The mosquitos that bite you in the mornings should be given more care as the chance of these being infected is higher.
