Emotional Freedom Technique

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a self-administered acupressure technique which combines cognitive and behavioural therapy techniques. In short, it is a means by which one can calm down the body when under the influence of strong emotions, stress wellness of the body or tension. The origin of EFT traces back to the Chinese medicine concept of invisible energy flowing throughout the body. It is believed that EFT would give you the benefits of acupuncture without the need for needles. The studies and reports from the last two decades seem to suggest that it has evolved from being just a concept to a widely accepted and much acclaimed medical practice.
