Pulse Oximeter: Essential Things to Know
July 19,2021
This is a fact that will keep us all thinking for some weeks – do we all see the same color?
Sounds stupid?, let me give you an introduction first
Growing up we were all shown an apple and it was told to us that it was red. We were all asked to look up and our teachers said that was blue. These are facts – the fruit apple is indeed red and the sky as far as we know it, during most of the day is indeed blue.
Now, due to some mystical hocus pocus u and I switch bodies and you came to the realization that the color I perceive as ‘red’ is what you have perceived all your life as ‘yellow’. We all have different photoreceptors in our eyes and technically it is biologically correct when I say that we both have different name associated with the same color because of our photoreceptors because the only way we could explain color to a person is showing an object with it and what if the very fact that the object is perceived differently. Think about it
