Comparative Thanatology in Prime apes

Studies have shown that humans are not the only species on planet Earth who showcase behaviour changes in the presence of death. Non-human primates also show a diverse range of emotions to the deceased. This is known as Comparative Thanatology. If the dead happens to be young then you can see the mothers carrying it and several females of the primate family alongside the mother.
