Ayurveda and Medical Tourism

There is little doubt in the mind of all the readers when I say that Kerala is one of the most renowned tourist destinations in the world and the concept of medical tourism is fast getting popular in GODs own country. The exists ample opportunities in the Indian Healthcare sector especially since the improvement of medical infrastructure and technology which lets us compete and even sit in par with developed countries. Kerala has the added advantage that it can be called as the birthplace of Ayurveda. Studies show that within the nation itself several residents from the North arrives at the southernmost tip purely for treatment in Ayurveda. People also pick Kerala due to its aesthetic beauty which involves sun-kissed beaches, lush green forests and exquisite hill stations. The language barrier that once existed is no longer prominent in the only state that has a 100% literacy rate. Medical Tourism in Kerala is handled more or less by the local people in the respective destinations in Kerala. The uniqueness of Ayurveda needs to be properly implemented for better results in this field.
